  Nice bank, not too busy. The only problem is the location can be a little bit difficult to get to. It also has shorter hours than most other banks I know. Staff are friendly and they seem to be especially helpful with the elderly clients.

  I was getting a Scotiabank Visa Gift Card and was told by the clerk (Lacewood branch) that they were experiencing problems issuing those Visa Gift Cards all through Nova Scotia, therefore they couldn't sell me one. I had the impression she couldn't be bothered to learn how to issue me a Visa Gift Card since those cards are fairly new.

  I went to the branch on Dutch Village Road and got one. The clerk wasn't familiar with those Visa Gift Cards but asked and really went out of her way to help me.

  I have been with scotiabank for about 15 plus years. This is the worst Bank on the planet!!! Nothing but bad experience after bad experience with this organization-biggest crooks in the business. If you want to constantly stress about your interest rates going up and your personal information being compromised then YES! bank here but I don't recommend it!!! Planning to switch to TD asap!
