  My only complaint is that i was only prescribed enough steroids / anti-inflammatory / disinfectant for a single eye when I was having two operated on . I didn’t realize I didn’t have enough drops myself; a friend pointed it out to me. I brought it up with an assistant, and they said I had enough. it was only when I brought it up with the surgeon that I discovered they had only given me enough drops for one eye for a month. This was then corrected and I was prescribed more eye drops. However, if my friend hadn’t pointed it out then I may have run out of eye drops early, which could have been bad for my recovery.

  Went in to get a consultation a bit ago and was very impressed. Clinic staff was very friendly and the place was very clean. The doctors were very accommodating and knowledgable.

  had the RLE surgery in Oct past, as i was tired of wearing glasses, from the first contact to final procedure, was a GREAT experience, friendly comforting staff, and Dr. Lakosha himself was very down to Earth, overall i HIGHLY recommend the procedure, as a truck driver, i needed glasses to see distance, but on sunny days, could not wear adequate sunglasses, with my new Symfony lenses in place, i can wear the same awesome sunglasses i wear on my motorcycle, which GREATLY reduces eye fatigue.

  I had my first appointment today and was very impressed with the new location, professional staff and cleanliness of the building. Dr. Lakosha was very pleasant as well as his assistant.

  Got ICL at this place. I was not eligible for LASIK, due to the flatness and strength of my perscription. I was looking to have the procedure done as quickly as possible, and the office accommodated this request without forgoing safety.

  The procedure itself was around 20 min an eye. No pain. The drug they offered to calm me down before the surgery is something I would very strongly recommend taking.

  Dr Lakosha is a knowledgeable and skilled ophthalmologist, but that clinic is a s&@tshow. And I would get any surgery you have done by him done in the hospital. Do not allow the staff to pressure you into private surgery for profit. It is a pay-to-jump-the-line clinic and profit is more important than safety. Your hair salon is inspected, this “private hospital” isn’t. Someone is going to get hurt.

  The cost was $6000 for both eyes, which is in the same range as what other places charge for this procedure in Canada. It might be possible to get it for $3500 for both eyes in another country, but personally I think the price is reasonable and that the doctor has enough experience working with eyes to well justify the price. If you are looking to get it done without leaving HRM, as I was, this is your best bet.

  Why does he say that it is bladeless laser surgery when you pay the extra $1000 per eye for femtosecond but then use a blade to make the incision and only do the capsulotomy with the laser?
